Life is what happens when you are making plans.

We dream and develop a unattainable vision of ourselves and where we should be. Some press on continually toward the goal. Others become disillusioned by their vain attempts to attain their vision. It is some what amazing that we even seek something grander than ourselves. Where does that desire come from? We all have a desire to be perfect, usually based on a vision of a certain perfection. Most do not look to be perfect in everything, but in their own vision of their dream. This desire is so great that failure causes many to despair to the point of suicide.

Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die today.

I want to live like there is no tomorrow, but I am not really sure how. I am hopeful there will be a tomorrow and have a need to plan for tomorrow. The best thing I have found is to leave things better than I find them; people, places, and things. Take a little extra time to do the right thing and help make someones day better.

Learn to be free of the fear of rejection and love those around you. Say it. Show it. Receive it. Everyone needs it.

Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes. 36“While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.”

We can change from day-to-day. Some days we feel better, have more energy, more focus, more hope, more joy. I have found that we should take advantage of what we have each day. If we have extra energy to produce what ever, we should take advantage of it, because we may not have the energy the following day.

1There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

2a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,

3a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,

4a time to weep and a time to laugh,a time to mourn and a time to dance,

5a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,

6a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,

7a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,

8a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

The interesting thing about our desire for our dreams and the actions we take to reach them produces our lives and we should take note of what we are producing today. We should remember that though we see it different,

life is a journey, not a destination.

When we reach the destination we are no longer in this world, but in eternity and our plans are useless to us because we have become a dream.

A  man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams. John  Barrymore
Carpe diem – seize the day.

Sometimes questions are more important than answers.

Failing to plan is planning to fail.

A goal without a plan is just a wish.

Do  not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the  present moment. Buddha

Proverbs 15:22

22 Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

16 To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue.

2 All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord.

3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

We  all dream; we do not understand our dreams, yet we act as if nothing strange  goes on in our sleep minds, strange at least by comparison with the logical,  purposeful doings of our minds when we are awake. Erich  Fromm
